Installation

Back up your machine's own OS first (SAVE -> Copy Operating System).

Floppy users: Write the 3KXL.img image to a 1.44 MB disk, or copy MPC2KXL.BIN onto a pre-formatted disk and use LOAD OS. To try 3KXL without flashing the machine, put the disk in the drive and power on while holding CURSOR RIGHT: the boot ROM then shows Loading:MPC2KXL.BIN and runs 3KXL from RAM until the next power-off. Your own OS stays in the flash untouched.

CF card: copy MPC2KXL.BIN into a folder called 3KXL somewhere on the card, then LOAD OS from there.
